Promotions Strategy


Innisfree understands that their success will depend on energetic promotion, engagement with the community, and close monitoring of changing trends in the short-term rental market.  

Innisfree has developed a comprehensive promotion strategy to effectively reach their target audience.  

Short-Term Rental Services: We will list on other short-term rental sites like Vrbo and AirBnb as well as medium-term rental sites like SabbaticalHomes. We plan to leverage our existing status as Superhost to maximize our reservations on Airbnb, and we understand that the value of the Superhost label is the opportunity it presents to take full advantage of Airbnb’s special offers. Short-term rental management software like Guesty can help integrate these various platforms.

Digital Marketing: Innisfree will build and maintain its own website and advertise across digital platforms to better reach our target audience. We will also develop an active presence on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as more specifically targeted platforms like The Dots and Outbound. We will also do targeted advertising campaigns on specific websites like AllTrails, SkiTripPlanner, and Greatest.  

Professional Associations and Networking: We also plan to interface with and advertise to professional associations, like the Screenwriters Guild and the Songwriters Guild, to reach our target audience. We will also seek professional relationships with local businesses that cater to our target audience, seeking cross-promotional opportunities in our area.

Pricing Strategy

While we firmly believe that Innisfree’s unique features set it apart from the competition, we also believe that competitive pricing is essential to success in this industry. Innisfree will implement a yield management system, which will dynamically adjust rates based on seasonal fluctuations and occupancy levels. Pricing will start at $210 per night, which places it near the bottom of the local market, but we will increase prices for weekends and during the winter when occupancy levels increase. During the holidays, from Thanksgiving through the end of January, prices and occupancy levels will likely be $450 and 100%.
